Fly in and Camp Under-Wing

Get the most out of the AeroExpo experience by flying in to the show and get free entry for you and your passengers. Last year over 500 pilots did just that! And now you can camp under the wing and stay onsite with your aircraft.

There are full facilities available including toilets, showers and an onsite restaurant.

Please contact to confirm that you intend to camp with your aircraft during your visit.

Sywell Aviation Museum

Sywell Aviation Museum (SAM) aims to preserve the history of Sywell Aerodrome and Northamptonshire's rich aviation heritage from the early days of aviation to the Second World War and beyond. It was opened in 2001 by the legendary aviator Alex Henshaw MBE who used to test-fly Vickers Wellingtons from the aerodrome during the Second World War.

The Museum is packed full of artifacts, models, weapons, uniforms, photographs, aircraft archaeology, aero engines and literature and housed in three Nissen huts, dismantled at the now-closed RAF Bentwaters and re-erected at Sywell. The buildings themselves are interesting artifacts, having been used as bomb fusing sheds by the USA-AF during WW2.
